Christmas party

Just wanted to make a quick announcement.

Our Christmas party is coming. It will be at church, December 19th from 4:00 to 8:00pm.

All you need to bring is a present - under $5.00 for our white elephant gift exchange.

We will feed you dinner and provide the fun.

I'm Back!!!

I have not updated my blog in forever! I'm sorry to all of you who use to faithfully check for updates. I have made it my goal to update regularly. Since I have not updated in a long time, let me give you a recap of all that happened this summer and so far this fall.

• In July we had our annual youth group camping trip at Honeyman State Campground. We spent the weekend sandboarding, playing in the lake, roasting marshmellows and having a ton of fun! Here is a few pictures.

All summer the youth group met for lunch and a Bible study on Wednesdays. We call it BYOL (Bring your own lunch). Here are some pictures from this summer

The youth group also traveled to Tacoma and went to Wild Waves. For those of you who have never heard of it, it is a theme park with roller coasters and water rides! It was pretty sweet. Even though it was a little cold and rainly, it was still a ton of fun. Here is a few more pictures.

• We also went on an all church retreat this summer.


• We had an Arizona Mission Trip reunion with Salem Heights Church.


• This fall we started by up youth group (Oneighty) on Friday nights.


• We also started back up our weekly high school Bible study (Wo-Man club) on Wednesday nights. In fact, last week our group went to the haunted house in Salem.


• Twice this fall we have also has the "5th Quarter." Together we went to the football game at Crescent Valley High School and then came back to church after the game for pizza, games and worship.
  
• The High schoolers also went on a retreat to Camp Tadmor with Salem Heights Church in October.


• In October the entire youth group went bowling one Friday night.

• As a church we celebrated our 30th anniversary!


• We have also continued to meet on Sunday afternoon for church.


• Charissa and I have been going to EPIC an asian college Bible study on the campus of OSU.

I think that is almost everything we have been up to lately! I probably forgot something, oh well.
